RigViewer Privacy Policy

RigViewer is a monitoring and control application for supported cryptocurrency mining hardware. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use RigViewer and how that information is used.

Information We Collect

RigViewer may collect or process the following information:

• User identifiers: identifiers used to support application functionality, including participation in RigViewer Community features.
• Device identifiers: persistent installation or device-level identifiers used to provide app functionality, maintain Community records, prevent duplicate entries, and support service security.
• User-provided content: information voluntarily submitted to RigViewer Community, such as a display name, miner name or model, mining performance records, and Highest Difficulty results.

Mining and Device Data

RigViewer communicates with mining hardware selected or configured by the user. Miner information may include hashrate, temperatures, power consumption, efficiency, pool information, shares, frequency, voltage, fan information and other operational statistics.

Local miner data is primarily used to provide the monitoring and control features requested by the user. Remote access features may transmit necessary requests and responses through RigViewer infrastructure when the user has configured a RigViewer Hub.

RigViewer Community

Participation in RigViewer Community is optional. Information submitted to Community features may be stored on RigViewer servers and displayed in public or shared rankings, including information such as display name, miner model, Highest Difficulty and record date.

Purchases and Subscriptions

RigViewer Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RigViewer does not receive or store your payment card number or banking information. The app receives purchase status information necessary to unlock purchased features.

How We Use Information

Information is used only as necessary to:

• Provide RigViewer app functionality.
• Operate optional Community features.
• Provide configured remote-access functionality.
• Maintain security and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions.
• Provide Premium features and verify purchase status.

Advertising and Tracking

RigViewer does not use User IDs or Device IDs for cross-app advertising tracking and does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Data Sharing

RigViewer does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers strictly where necessary to operate RigViewer services and features.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant RigViewer functionality, maintain service integrity, or satisfy applicable legal requirements.

Your Choices

Community participation and remote-access features are optional. Users may stop using these features at any time.

Requests regarding stored RigViewer information, including requests for deletion where applicable, may be submitted using the support contact listed for RigViewer on the App Store.

Children

RigViewer is a technical utility application and is not specifically directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when RigViewer features or privacy practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
